At Utopia, we value the creativity of our learners and strive to inspire them through the delivery of a quality Art & Design curriculum. Learners studying the Level 1 Introductory in Art & Design will have the opportunity to experience art first hand in a number of settings.
Units covered within this qualification include; Creating a 2D image, Creating a 3D object and Photography. Studying this subject also includes visits to a selection of local galleries and photographic studios. At Level 2 learners to develop skills across a range of art and design practices, develop personal skills, such as managing creative projects, documenting progress of skills and work, and responding to briefs through a practical and skills-based approach. When studying the this qualification learners develop knowledge to effectively use skills and processes in the art and design sector and learn how to visually communicate creative responses to art and design briefs.
